About

I’m a self-named technological dilettante, with the attendant wide-breadth of relatively shallow knowledge on a variety of matters, useful and arcane. This purpose of this blog is to vent those opinions before the steam builds up and makes my eyes pop out like a cork stuffed in the spout of an old tin teapot.

We still wonder why my late Gramma decided to test the “watched pot never boils” theory so attentively that day…

If you want to know more about me, or this blog, well, just settle in and start reading the archives.

Bonus Trivia!

Phi is the name given to the irrational number “1.6180339887498” (to the 13th digit) It is most famously known as the golden ratio, which leads to the glyph being symbolic for proportionality, balance and perfection. I am, unfortunately, none of those things.
